Good afternoon we cannot legally change the rapid flasher to red without help from our law makers and Mass DOT. However i do agree with you and i have asked our State Representative to sponsor a bill to make that change. As we all know yellow means proceed with Caution and Red means Stop. State law says that you need to stop for someone in a crosswalk. That's why i agree with you that the Rapid flashing signals shall be Red. City Electrician John Giardi
