Description

A lot of drivers speed way above the speed limit when driving along Broad St. There are sometimes police cars nearby during the day to pull over speeding drivers, however the problem is extremely apparent when they are not present on any time of the day. Residents have often heard cars "racing" along Broad St.

Many residents find crossing Broad St. to be very unsafe as the current speeding checks are not being enforced enough. We would like to propose either a change in the Broad St and Dalton Pkwy traffic signal to impose frequent stops and/or a speed bump.

Even with the walk-button that the traffic light allows, cars still speed through if the pedestrian is not on their side of the road. There is widespread concern about the safety of this street.
