This street is always blocked! Posing a major threat to us who actually live around here! Someone needs to listen to all the complaints we have made to the City of Oakland. It is especially dangerous at night when all the drug deals are going down and multiple cars double parked so the street gets blocked completely! Police has been informed and only recommended taking it to the City.

there are multiple reports in SeeClickFix for this street. after the intersection was blocked off a couple weeks ago with a fire truck down towards the onramp, I asked the officer who first arrived and was directing traffic what was going on. I then told him how sick of this I was and he expressed his frustration as well and told me I had to go to the City. I told him I have but it's been a waste of time. So that night I wrote to Rebecca Kaplan's office, Carroll Fife's office, and Joe Devries, who used to deal with the encampments. Joe responded the following week that he no longer deals with the encampments but he CC'd the Homeless division on the response and said this would go on their weekly agenda. a Woman responded to me asking the same sort of generic/form questions she probably asks everyone, (make and model of car/RV, license number, etc etc) approximate number of tents, how many vehicles, etc. I explained that it was the ENTIRE STREET. I haven't heard anything more and that was on June 1.
